Bonnies classes are informed by the principals in Ayurveda and ParaYoga. ParaYoga is a combination of Hatha and Tantra that utilizes valuable techniques of the yogic tradition in order to cultivate the most profound transformative results from any given practice. ParaYoga includes practices such as: Asana, Pranayama, Bandha, Mudra, Visualization, Meditation, Chanting, Kriya, Mantra, Kundalini, along with a vast array of other practices. It is difficult to find a single style of yoga that includes all of these practices, but ParaYoga does exactly that. These practices are very accessible with the proper guidance, and from these practices we blossom as we remember our unique power and grace.
Bonnie Teaches a combination of Tantra and Hatha yoga, which are the teachings that ParaYoga is derived from. ParaYoga incorporates Ayurvedic principals, the resulting combination is a unique transformative experience for each individual, both physically, mentally and spiritually. There is an unwavering line of connection between all of Bonnie’s teachers and their teachers, as the wisdom of these traditions are passed on directly from teacher to student; going back many millenniums.
This way of divulging information keeps the tradition alive and assures that the student is ready to receive the information and be the most effective they can be in their life and as a teacher for others. This translates into her personal teachings as intuitive and informed. Innovative yet classic. Sessions are generally slow and methodical with deliberate breathing patterns and meditations to cultivate a desired energetic effect, which vary depending on the needs of the student. Yoga is meant to accommodate for the needs of the student, rather than the student accommodating for Yoga.
